Neurology and neurorehabilitation

Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Neurological rehabilitation is the treatment and care provided to manage conditions, regain independence and help with wellbeing.  

Our Northern and Eastern teams work closely together with the help of other specialist centres. We deal with neurological emergencies and long-term conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, migraines, brain injury and epilepsy. We are also involved in many research programmes.
