Respiratory

Respiratory medicine covers everything to do with the breathing system: the lungs, diaphragm, nose, throat, larynx and windpipe (trachea).

Our consultants and respiratory nurses look after people with a range of conditions, from asthma to lung cancer.

We do this in our hospitals via our dedicated wards but also through clinics and home visits to patients coping with long-term respiratory disorders.
