Oral and Maxillofacial (mouth, jaws, face and neck)
Oral and Maxillofacial (OMF) surgeons specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck. This includes head, neck and mouth cancers, lumps, tongue tie in babies, facial pain and many other conditions.
This unique and varied speciality links medicine and dentistry. We carry out an extensive array of treatments – anything from relatively minor procedures to complex major head and neck surgery.
We work closely with our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and plastic surgery colleagues, as well as the orthodontic team and other specialisms.
