Fracture Clinic services

A fracture is a broken or cracked bone. This can affect any bone in the body, and we treat a number of these injuries within our orthopaedics department. Depending on what type of fracture you have and how serious it is will affect what type of treatment you need.

You may attend a fracture clinic as an outpatient at one of our main hospitals, at a community hospital, or as an outpatient in the community setting. This may also involve imaging such as X-Rays, but your referring health care professional will be able to explain what is likely to be needed for your care.
