Pioneering care from compassionate people
Change the face of dental care in Devon and join a team that's dedicated to the communities we serve. The Royal Devon Salaried Dental Service operates within seven locations based across Exeter, East, Mid and North Devon, providing excellent oral health services and placing patients at the heart of what we do.
We develop and deliver community-based approaches to keep people healthy, commissioned by NHS England to act proactively and prevent common problems such as tooth decay, gum problems and related conditions through healthcare and education.
Our service is split into five workstreams:
- special care dental service
- specialist dental services including general anaesthesia, sedation and primary care oral surgery
- urgent care dental service
- oral health promotion
- oral screening and epidemiology
We're based in dental access centres, community hospitals and health clinics across Devon and have a team of extraordinary Dentists, Dental Therapists and Oral Health Promotion Practitioners. Your day-to-day work is exciting and varied, whether you are alleviating a patient's pain or taking a referral for the special care patient base to see a recalled patient or answering a referral from a variety of dental, health and social care professionals.
