Public Meetings & Minutes
Please note that due to the current context with COVID-19, we are still planning on holding parts of these meetings in public, but they will be accessible online via Microsoft Teams (MS Teams).
If you would like to register your interest as a member of the public to observe these meetings, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. Please note that these meetings will be recorded via MS Teams.
Council of Governors
The Council of Governors meets formally on a quarterly basis.
At each meeting, they receive an update from the Chief Executive, a report on the Trust's performance over the previous quarter and conduct their routine business.
The agendas and minutes of meetings can be found below. Please note that minutes are not published until they have been approved.
Council of Governors meetings after April 2022:
All meetings are currently planned to be held via MS Teams. We will review this in light of any new guidance on meeting in person.
Agendas and Minutes
As we continue our integration, some of our documents will refer to our former organisations:
- The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E)
- The Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT)
Some of our documents prior to April 2022 refer only to the RD&E. As new documents are produced, these will have the Royal Devon logo and related information.
To view further agendas and minutes dated prior to April 2022, please access our archive below. Please note this will take you to the former Royal Devon and Exeter page.
Our Board has 10 meetings in a calendar year (although it can also meet in August and December if required), with each meeting having a public and confidential session.
RD&E Annual Members’ Meeting 2021
The former RD&E's 2021 Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) was held on Wednesday 29 September 2021, 5pm-7pm.
We gave some consideration to holding this important meeting in person; however, on reviewing the local COVID-19 position, we made the decision to hold the meeting using MS Teams, as we did for the 2020 AMM. Safety is always our top priority and we wanted to ensure everybody felt comfortable attending the meeting.
The event provided an opportunity for Trust members to hear about our performance over the previous financial year, to learn more about aspects of our work, including the integration with Northern Devon Healthcare Trust, and to contribute their views.
A recording of the event is available to watch below. The 2021 AMM agenda is also available to download.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Trust, more details and a link to our online membership form are available on our Membership pages. You can also contact our Engagement Office on 01392 403977 or email@example.com
